Maintenance Medicines
MedImpact Direct makes home delivery of maintenance medicines easy! Maintenance medicines are those you take regularly for conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes.
Specialty Medicines
Specialty medicines are used to treat complex conditions such as cancer or hepatitis C. A preferred network pharmacy will set up delivery with you. The pharmacy will provide personal patient support services for these therapies.

Maintenance Medicines
What are maintenance medicines?
Maintenance medicines are those you take regularly for conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes.
How do I set up new prescriptions?
Your doctor directly sends your 90-day prescription electronically or by fax to
1-888-783-1773. We can only accept prescriptions from your doctor. We will automatically fill and ship most new prescriptions we get from your doctor except for controlled substances.
When will I receive my medicine?
Orders are processed and shipped within 5 days of receipt of prescription.
How do I order refills?
You can order medicine refills after your first prescription has been filled with our mobile app or through our member portal at medimpact.com.
How do I enroll in auto refill?
You need to have a current profile in our system. To enroll eligible prescriptions in Auto Refill, sign in to www.medimpact.com and visit My Prescriptions page. Controlled substances are not eligible. If you have opted in to notifications, we will alert you when medicines have shipped. Notifications are required for Part D members and California residents.

What are specialty medicines?
Specialty medicines are more complex and are used to treat chronic conditions such as cancer or hepatitis C.
How do I get started using MedImpact Direct for specialty medicines?
For specialty medicines, you don’t need to do anything. Your dispensing pharmacy will call you to schedule delivery. If you have questions, call MedImpact Direct Specialty® at 877-391-1103 (TTY dial 711).
How do I order specialty refills?
For specialty medicines, the specialty pharmacy will call you when your refill is due. You also may call the phone number printed on your medicine label.
Do medicine orders come with discreet packaging?
Yes, our pharmacies use discreet packaging. There is no information on the package to indicate what is in the box.
